Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Gerard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He bought a sword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by giants. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
