History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A freak accident while working with his Barkeep father left him crippled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was born into a rich family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and further expansion of business

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and likes to wear violet tank tops with grey pants. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His chestnut hair is matted, messy, and big. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is a great chef.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Courier and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and balancing his hectic life and new mercenary responsibilities is difficult
