History: He got into the Cartwright business at a young age. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and wants to raise his children well

Description: This man wears an entirely green suit with black socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized jet on his left hand. He has dyed his greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: He wears a simple yellow robe with black stripes complete with hood. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Detective arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears suspenders and yellow workpants. His shirt is blue, and he wears a heavy yellow leather apron most of the time. His white hair is singed and shortened. His ears are large.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Lance took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up hand crossbow and armor he uses now. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Lance never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
