Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ernest embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Ernest was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ernest's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Miles was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Knight. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born in a small forest village. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against goblins
