History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Bernard was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Shepherd. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Healer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner.
