History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Simon was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He uses divination through singing.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Manfred has worked very hard to control his curse. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he has money and likes to spend it
