History: Cory lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Clerebold grew up listening to his father's many stories. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Merchant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Merchant job and began his own company from there.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Alex and his spouse have recently divorced.
