Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He is a Chromatic Dragon in disguise. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gilbert's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Anselm lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He comes from a rich western family. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shane grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
