History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Theobald alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has worked as a Ruler like his mother before him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and balancing his hectic life and new ruler responsibilities is difficult
