The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Everard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He is a Yochlol in disguise. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Reynard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Reynard. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He has taken up work as a Spice Merchant and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.
