History: Born to a Cartwright, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Gerard reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions.
