History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sellsword work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sellsword work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Sellsword soon after.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Charles was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
