History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: Anselm hails from a village terrorized by goblins. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Spice Merchant mother left him crippled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Arnold was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Actor for the past few years.
