History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bertram grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and someone believes him a fraud
