History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cory grew up listening to his father's many stories. A gifted student he started as a Spice Merchant, but he got bored and became a Layabout. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a grey costume with the symbols of his god on his torso, and a wedding ring on his left hand. He keeps his long black hair kept up in a rat tail. His half smiles and gray eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has achieved small success as a Performer.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He is a Bookbinder first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He worked as a nervous Bookbinder and found it very stressful. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His black hair is still thick. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and money/treasure
