He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Patrick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His first spouse was a Miner, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Miner they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Healer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
