History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

History: Chad was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. History: He got into the Apothecary business at a young age. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He's also a talented Blacksmith, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Apothecary responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Gerard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs
