History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Theodoric was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Butcher. Being a Butcher kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
