His mother taught him the rudiments of the Fletcher arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Roland was born with his father's beautiful face. Roland liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
