History: Gerald was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. Through the years after Gerald was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gerald's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: Patrick speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born in the west. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. He has worked as a Cook like his father before him.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Map Maker. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
