History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a hand crossbow on his belt. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His long chestnut hair reaches down to his waist. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with music. He constantly tries to fill his life with music. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Frederick was born with his mother's beautiful face. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Frederick grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Frederick. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Frederick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture

With bright silver hair and a scraggly beard. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. A true patriot, Theobald would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
