History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Don was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: Born to a Butcher, his father struggled to pay the bills. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Miner for the past few years.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
