He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Charles was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Charles's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Tim was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Peter lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student he started as a Barrister, but he got bored and became a Animal Trainer. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His blonde hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are a pleasant green.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
