History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Miles was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Justin was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Seamstress they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Glassblower, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, he very much looks the part of a Farmer. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: This eastern man likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His clothes are grease stained in places. His auburn hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and his religion dominates his actions
