History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Ruler kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Shane was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Justin hails from a village terrorized by drow. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
