Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

History: Dustin was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Weaver, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Gerald was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
