Description: This northern man wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His clothes are grease stained in places. His long golden hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Bertram was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Bertram abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Miles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Miles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it.
