Personality: Theobald hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theobald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Heward alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His first spouse was a Crown-heir, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He was born in the north. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
