History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His brown hair is still thick. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady violet eyes.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he feels threatened by others

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears suspenders and pastel workpants. His shirt is green, and he wears a heavy pastel leather apron most of the time. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Hugh was born the youngest of three triplets. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shipwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and expand his business

Description: This late middle aged man prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman and is in decent physical shape. His hair is black and very short. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by illithids. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and many illithids want him driven away

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He likes to wear blue tank tops with black pants. His blonde hair, when down, is lengthy. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Thomas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
