History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His long auburn hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are hazel.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Roger lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Roger liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a red shirt, with a white mid length shorts with white tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Ralf reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carter and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed lance, just in case. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy chestnut hair. He has several tiny amethyst earrings on each ear.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Ralf abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
