History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bookbinder. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Navigator work with an outfit from a few towns over. Navigator work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Navigator for hire.

History: Lance hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it
