Description: He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His hair is golden, silky, and of moderate length. His violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Bernard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and wears a tattered pair of loose brown pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His auburn hair is braided into rings. His ears are large.
Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and retire the richest man in the east

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His brown hair, when down, is lengthy. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and to pay off his debts

Personality: Shane is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Shane was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bricklayer. He's also a talented Cartwright, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and human compassion

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
