History: Charles was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He became a Bather soon after.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new bather responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
