History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Hubert abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He wears his brown hair down. His violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born in the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is an amazing painter.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Randal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a robe, a symbol of magic around his neck, and a dagger on his belt. His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
