History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Charles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Charles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with small hat. He sports a long silver beard, and similarly colored long hair. His amber eyes are passionate and lively.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and retire the richest man in the east

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears brown robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a lance, but if one is not available he will default to his ceremonial dagger. His head has been shaved. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is a Mercenary first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is a great chef.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mercenary responsibilities is difficult; and money/treasure

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a white vest and prefers brown and green shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His auburn hair is heavily combed to the right. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He takes great joy in being the best Armorer in town.

History: Balimaar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Armorer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Armorer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To be a Guard again.
