History: Cory hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Richard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scimitar.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. He became a Ruler soon after.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new ruler responsibilities is difficult
