History: Don was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Don abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Nicholas's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and human compassion

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
