History: Ernest was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Ernest abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Don was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mercenary for hire.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and balancing his hectic life and new mercenary responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Knight arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the west to a Scribe, Aldous learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and human compassion

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull red iron scale mail. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He sports a flattop hair cut. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He worked as a nervous Apothecary and found it very stressful. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands.
