Personality: Shane hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. The war was a terrible time for him, and Shane does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
