Personality: Bernard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it.
