Bernard Pinkerton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he dresses well, wearing brown shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. He has a long auburn beard with little hanging trinkets. His eyes are blue.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bernard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.
History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Bernard was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Bernard decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Merchant kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Balimaar Bradly, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears dull green sweaters, loose brown pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed rapier, just in case. He has no hair. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Balimaar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Balimaar. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
