History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His childhood dream was to be a Tanner, but he was a colossal failure. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roger fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Ralf hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ralf was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.
