When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Lewis Clapham, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he is wearing a tight blue one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. He has wavy red hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Trym Camden, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a fancy tan suit. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are violet and catlike.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Ralf Trollope, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears dull tan sweaters, loose black pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed sickle, just in case. His chestnut hair is greasy and uncared for. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ralf embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ralf grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ralf. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.
Flaws: Ugly, Antagonistic. Bonds: In love, Adventurer, Criminal record. Occupation: Mercenary
