History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Gerald lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.
