Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gilbert's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.
