Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Aldous liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He bought a longbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Ralf was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Human compassion; and he feels kind of lost in life

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rolf embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
