History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Anselm alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has achieved small success as a Tailor.

He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
