History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Kyle was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Courier work with an outfit from a few towns over. Courier work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and retire the richest man in the north

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Born in the east to a Spice Merchant, Simon learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and balancing his hectic life and new spice merchant responsibilities is difficult
