Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He has shaved his head bald. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Simon was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears a brown collared shirt and blue pants. He accessorizes with a pastel scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His auburn hair and beard is wavy and long. His fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Description: This man is very fat, and wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with Stetson hat. His silver hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. Lance was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Lance decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He takes great joy in being the best Barrister in town.

History: Born in the east to a Barrister, Clerebold learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He tends to his Barrister job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he is unsatisfied with his job
