History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Gerald's homeland. Gerald decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gerald never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Theodoric was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and wants to raise his children well
